KIBLAF represents a number of foreign-invested insurance organizations in the field of life insurance and non-life insurance and represents a number of foreign insurance organizations as well as P&I clubs in their operation activities in Vietnam. We have experience in the following insurance business:
- Life Insurance: Advice on regulations, drafting and reviewing contracts for insurance projects.
- Non-life insurance: Advice on regulations, drafting contracts and restructuring the business.
- Maritime insurance: Advice on regulations and representing a number of P&I clubs in resolving disputes.
Work Highlights
- Advising and representing Khai Thanh Production and Trading Co., Ltd. in a lawsuit against the Postal Insurance Joint Stock Company on insurance contract disputes related to claiming factory fire insurance;
- Advising the North Sea Shipping Joint Stock Company regarding the settlement of disputes over compensation for collisions between Ngoc Ha ship and Thor Tribute ship datd May 23, 2009;
- Advising a bank insurance corporation on settling compensation related to ship collision at Chittagong port of Bangladesh;
- Advising Hoang Dat Co., Ltd. in resolving issues related to the Hoang Dat 126 shipwreck dated October 3, 2007.
